In-line dCO2 Control

How It Can Improve Productivity and Reduce Manufacturing Costs

A Path to Greater Yield and Productivity

Mammalian cell culture is still the backbone of mAb and vaccine biomanufacturing. As such, the end cost of such biopharmaceuticals is very high, partly due to intricate, resource-heavy cell-culture operations.

While microbial hosts are yet impotent to express such highly complex molecules, another strategy to reduce finished product costs is to enhance the efficiency of the biomanufacturing steps by increasing yield and productivity rates and cutting down on capital and operational costs.

One of the most cutting-edge Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) that has been proven to serve both of those ambitions is dissolved carbon dioxide (dCO2). In this webinar on in-line dCO2 control, we will dive into the critical role that dCO2 plays in mammalian cell-culture upstream processing in the heart of the biomanufacturing floor and look at the impact dCO2 has on mammalian cell metabolism. Then, we shall devise a robust, real-time, in-line dCO2 control strategy by employing an equally robust, real-time dCO2 monitoring PAT tool.
