All METTLER TOLEDO X-Series x-ray system generators come with a five-year warranty when a standard or comprehensive service care package is purchased. By protecting the most valuable part of the x-ray machine, manufacturers can have confidence that production uptime is safeguarded.

We at METTLER TOLEDOSafeline X-ray are so confident in the reliability of our x-ray generators that we are able to offer an industry-first 5 year warranty. With either our standard or comprehensive care packages in place, we will cover repair costs and/or replacement parts should a mechanical or electrical fault occur. The five year warranty avoids unexpected costs and reduces the risk of production downtime.

X-ray inspection systems have become indispensable in providing food safety and quality assurance worldwide. However, regular periodic maintenance is vital to ensure consistent performance, optimum productivity and accurate inspection results.

A METTLER TOLEDO Service Care Package will maximise return on investment and productivity over the lifetime of x-ray equipment providing support whenever and wherever you need it.

X-ray systems are installed at Critical Control Points (CCPs). If they fail, manufacturers run the risk of significant unplanned downtime, resulting in reduced output and potential lost revenue.

A METTLER TOLEDO Service Care Package guarantees support throughout the x-ray system maintenance plan and provides:

We offer three levels of Care Package: – Basic Care, Standard Care and Comprehensive Care. Each package is designed to meet individual customer needs. As part of the package, we will assist in determining the optimal type and frequency of maintenance as well as the level of repair coverage required.

All three Care Packages include:

1. Preventative maintenance - inspection and cleaning of all mechanical components, checking and testing of electronic components and inspection for wear and damage.
2. Equipment operational testing – testing is performed to identify and diagnose equipment problems to confirm repair measures have been effective to support compliance with GFSI standards
3. Preferred service intervention – customers with a Care Contract  receive priority assistance

In addition, the Standard Care package also safeguards against unexpected repair labour costs and includes access to a technical hotline, providing fast and efficient help for operational and set-up problems.

The Comprehensive Care package allows customers to have full budgetary control by covering repair labour costs and replacement parts costs.
