METTLER TOLEDO Safeline test samples enable your business to comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements and the broader needs of external food safety regulations and standards.

Certified test samples can support compliance with the following Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)-based Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI)-recognised standards, which include but are not limited to:

Food and beverage based standards:

• The British Retail Consortium (BRC v6) Global Standard for Food Safety
• International Food Standard (IFS v6)
• The Foundation for Food Safety Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000)
• Safe Quality Food 2000 Code 7.2 (SQF 2000)
• Dutch Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (Dutch HACCP)

Other schemes do exist but the five schemes listed above equate to probably over 90% of the adopted standards currently being applied.

FDA Approved Materials for Improved Food Safety*

As there is a likelihood that test pieces will come into contact with food products, METTLER TOLEDO Safeline test samples utilise materials with full FDA approval for contact with foodstuffs. Test samples meet FDA regulations 21 CFR 177.2470, 21 CFR 177.3297 and 21 CFR 175.105

Test Cards ** - 95mm x 65mm laminated credit card format for test spheres up to 3.5mm diameter

Mini Test Sticks ** - 10mm x 10mm x 100mm test stick format for test spheres up to 5mm diameter.

Large Test Sticks ** - 20mm x 20mm x 100mm test stick format for test spheres up to 10mm diameter.

Test Rods - 10mm x 10mm x 440mm test rod format for test spheres up to 5mm diameter.

Flexible Test Rods - Flexible rod format for test spheres up to 2mm diameter. Rod length: 450mm.

Test Tablets - 16mm and 25mm diameter test tablets for test spheres up to 1.5mm diameter.

Test Balls - 20mm, 27mm, 40mm & 48mm diameter ball formats for test spheres up to 10mm diameter.

Ferrite Test Sticks - For Profile Variable Frequency detector set up purposes.

All precision test spheres used in METTLER TOLEDO Safeline’s metal test samples conform to ANSI/AFBMA Std 10 or DIN 5401. The manufacturing process to incorporate the spheres into a usable test sample carrier is conducted in accordance with ISO9001:2000 accreditation. This means you can be sure that every test sample is accurate, consistent and fit for purpose.

Certified To Meet Compliance Needs

All METTLER TOLEDO Safeline test samples can be supplied with a formal certificate of conformance confirming size, manufacturing standards, authenticity and providing the means of a traceable history of manufacture. The certificate can form part of formal records for use in proving due diligence has been exercised if required.

Configurable Test Kits To Suit Your Needs

Test samples are also available in test kit packs for even greater convenience. Kits can contain up to 12 test samples of varying sizes and materials.
