We support and service your measurement equipment through its entire life-cycle, from installation to preventive maintenance and calibration to equipment repair.
Sensor housings, or process adaptions, enable an analytical sensor to be safely connected to all common process environments, including open basins, pipes, closed tanks, chemical reactors, bioreactors and fermentation vessels. METTLER TOLEDO process housings are designed to withstand any environment to ensure safe, productive and efficient in-line measurements. Process adaptions can be tailored to meet requirements for strength, safety, corrosion resistance and performance.
METTLER TOLEDO process housings offer various construction materials, process constructions, insertion lengths, and temperature and pressure options to ensure your requirements are met.
With easy handling and mounting of the sensor housing, a METTLER TOLEDO sensor assembly helps reduce the running costs of a measuring point for simple, cost-effective operation.
The rugged design and installation versatility of select sensor housings meet the demands of the harshest conditions in chemical, petrochemical, pulp and mining applications.
The advanced design of process housings that can retract the sensor holder from the process allow sensors to be cleaned, flushed, inspected, calibrated or exchanged without process interruption.
METTLER TOLEDO sensor housings meet the requirements of major international guidelines, including ATEX and FM approvals, and can be used for safe operation in Ex-classified environments.
METTLER TOLEDO works with clients worldwide to equip state-of-the-art processing facilities with liquid analytics. If your process adaptions require special connections, METTLER TOLEDO can help.
The METTLER TOLEDO process assembly portfolio allows our sensor housings to meet a variety of common entry types, including top-entry, side-entry, pipe-entry, flow-through and immersion.
We support and service your measurement equipment through its entire life-cycle, from installation to preventive maintenance and calibration to equipment repair.
A sensor housing, also known as a process adaption, is a piece of hardware that allows a sensor to be connected in-line to a process tank or pipe. These process adaptions can also allow a sensor to reach the desired depth in an open basin for measurement.
A sensor housing enables an analytical sensor to be installed in-line into a process (tank/pipe). The process housing is to ensure the sensor is protected and reaches the desired depth for obtaining optimum analytical results. Various types of sensor housing or process adaption are available, including sensor housings that can be applied to open basins, flow-through pipes, closed tanks, chemical reactors, bioreactors and fermentation vessels.
Choosing the correct sensor housing is crucial. The housing must act as a secure sensor holder and ensure that the sensor is well protected and able to provide representative measurements.
METTLER TOLEDO has four different sensor housing types:
METTLER TOLEDO sensor housings offer the right solution to ensure production safety, reliability and for legislation requirements.
The InTrac series of housings can be operated with the METTLER TOLEDO EasyClean 150 or EasyClean 200 for programmable automatic sensor flushing. InTrac can also be operated with the EasyClean 400 for programmable, automatic pH sensor cleaning and calibration.
For InDip housings when a high dirt load is foreseen, operation with an EasyClean 100 for programmable, automatic sensor rinsing is possible. This reduces plant operator workload for performing manual sensor cleaning and calibration.
