Excellent Connectivity

With certified device drivers, ACT weight transmitters can be easily integrated into most common automation systems. This built-in Ethernet switch allows daisy chain and ring connection to the PLC/DCS, which reduces project and maintenance costs. Choose from the following models in the ACT family to integrate the weighing device that best meets your needs:

- ACT100 / ACT100xx: Connect strain-gauge scales and achieve measurement at fast speeds with analog output

- ACT350 / ACT350xx: Offer precise measurements at excellent speeds for conventional strain-gauge weighing technology, which is ideal for many filling and sorting applications

Onboard Display and Keypad

A built-in display and keypad provides easy setup, diagnostics, status (indicated by text) and weight for local calibration. Four indicator LEDs show network status and device conditon. The local display and keypad provide easy setup and diagnostics directly at the unit. Transmitter status and weight value are easy to check independent of other devices. In addition, the compact DIN-rail housing saves valuable cabinet space.

The ACT transmitters are integrated with a web server, allowing for setup and control via Ethernet remotely from any network location in the facility. With the user-friendly interface, your machines can be up and running in minutes, and users benefit from easy setup, remote status checks and simplified servicing.

Once installed, the update rate allows for improved efficiency and optimized weighing processes in any machine, leading to higher overall operational throughput.

You want to fill a bag on a vibration feeder with high accuracy and transfer the weight signal in high speed to a PLC. What would be a good solution?

We recommend using analog weigh modules such as MultiMount and the TrasDSP filter of the ACT350 weight transmitter. That would update the PLC reading up to 800/s and provide excellent accuracy.
