Johan Schroll-Fleischer

Senior Lead Metrology Engineer, Novo Nordisk A/S

Johan Schroll-Fleischer works as a metrology expert at Novo Nordisk A/S. He has nine years of experience in metrology. He represents the CMC division on the corporate board. Johan focuses on the metrology process and chairs the Metrology Board for the CMC division. His duties include training, governance, strategy, performance, and compliance related to the process. Also, he has expertise in the structure of calibration data in Novo Nordisk's IT system.

Heidi Foldal

Area Process Manager Finished Products Manufacturing, Novo Nordisk A/S

Heidi Foldal is Metrology Expert at Novo Nordisk A/S. Heidi brings over 33 years of experience in metrology at Novo Nordisk A/S, specializing in general metrology, geometry, and regulatory compliance. She has spent 10 years managing metrology processes in the device division and over 15 years interpreting healthcare regulatory requirements for metrology. A dedicated trainer, Heidi has educated employees in metrology for more than a decade and served as quality lead for five accredited laboratories. Currently, she supports device testing and automation processes, driving precision and quality across the organization.

Dr. Stephan Schlamminger

Physicist, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)

Stephan Schlamminger is a physicist specializing in precision measurement and fundamental constants. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Zurich, focusing on experimental physics. Currently working at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Schlamminger’s research centers on improving the accuracy of mass measurements, particularly by using the Kibble balance. His work has contributed to the redefinition of the kilogram based on fundamental physical constants. He has also conducted experiments to refine the measurement of the gravitational constant (G). Schlamminger’s approach emphasizes careful experimental design and precise measurement techniques, supporting the development of reliable scientific standards.

Dipl. Ing. Daniel Stastny

Head of the Department of Mass Metrology , Czech metrology institute CMI

Daniel Stastny is the head of the Department of Mass Metrology at the Czech Metrology Institute (CMI). He holds a background in physics and mechanical engineering from the Czech Technical University (CTU). His career in metrology began in 1997 at METTLER TOLEDO, where he spent 20 years in various technical, metrology, and senior management roles. For over a decade, he served as Vice President of CECIP, the European association of weighing instrument manufacturers. In addition, he is the founder of a consultancy specializing in accredited calibration, metrology software, and education in quality management and metrology.

Rayan Alyousefi

Assistant Consultant to NMCC, Saudi Standards Metrology & Quality Organization (SASO-NMCC)

Rayan Alyousefi works as an Assistant Consultant at SASO. He manages international affairs for the Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM). He also represents Saudi Arabia in important committees. These committees include the Consultative Committees of Units and Mass. With an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering (University of Surrey) and a BSc in Physics (King Saud University), he combines technical expertise with strategic leadership. Rayan has held pivotal roles such as Director of the Proficiency Testing Unit and Deputy Director of Mechanical Development, overseeing laboratories and international collaborations. A certified Lead Auditor ISO standards and CIPM-MRA Lead Peer-Reviewer, he drives accreditation initiatives and national projects like the SASO-NIDLP.

Dr. Martin Huber

METTLER TOLEDO

Martin is responsible for Applied Metrology and Good Measuring Practices at METTLER TOLEDO. He has been with the company since 2003 and consults customers in establishing sound metrological practices to ensure quality and compliance of measuring processes. Martin holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry of the Swiss Federal Institutue of Technology (ETHZ) and worked in the pharmaceutical industry before joining METTLER TOLEDO.

Fabian Troll

Product Manager, METTLER TOLEDO

Fabian Troll is the Product Manager for the Good Pipetting Practice program at METTLER TOLEDO, an initiative designed to assist pipette users in improving their accuracy and efficiency. He has a background in biology, with experience in genomics, proteomics, and the production of biosurfactants from fungi. Since joining METTLER TOLEDO in 2014, he has developed extensive expertise in pipetting and quality management within the industry.

Walter Krebs

Head of GWP Product Management, METTLER TOLEDO

Walter leads the product management group of the GWP competence center, specializing in the Good Weighing PracticeTM program and calibration solutions for nonautomated balances and scales at METTLER TOLEDO headquarters in Switzerland.

Dr. Frederik Eiler

Dr. Frederik Eiler is the product manager for metrology solutions, specializing in manual mass comparators, software, and liquid handling calibration at METTLER TOLEDO headquarters in Switzerland.

Mark Kliebenschädel is the product manager for metrology solutions, specializing in vacuum-, robotic-, and automatic vacuum mass comparators, at METTLER TOLEDO headquarters in Switzerland.
