Between calibrations, SmartCheck provides a fast way to verify that a pipette is dispensing accurately. It automatically detects the test volume, prompts a repeat three more times and calculates the measured uncertainty, resulting in a pass/fail.

How Does SmartCheck Work?
Not only is SmartCheck fast – it's the only automatic ISO 8655-based pipette verification tool available. SmartCheck takes volumetric measurements using the gravimetric method and calculates the random and systematic error based on four measurements. It then determines the measurement uncertainty of the delivered volume in percentages, comparing it to the pipetting tolerance in percentages, yielding a quick pass or fail statement of the instrument and user within 60 seconds.
Verify Any Brand of Pipette
Use SmartCheck to verify the performance of any brand of pipette that dispenses volumes between 10–1000 μL. Verify individual channels of multichannel pipettes too. It's simple: dispense deionized water into the liquid chamber and SmartCheck automatically detects the test volume, then prompts you to dispense the same volume three more times. From start to finish, SmartCheck delivers a pass/fail result in less than 60 seconds. This compact device is also perfect for training and improving pipetting technique.
