A positive displacement pipette tip is specifically designed to fit a positive displacement pipette. The core piston and outer capillary of each tip accurately handle liquids of varying densities and surface tensions, including viscous or sticky samples, and volatile organic liquids. Sealed at the piston-end inside the capillary, positive displacement tips protect positive displacement pipettes from cross-contamination. Pos-D syringe tips are available both sterilized and non-sterilized.
