A Weighing Balance is an integral part of any Laboratory procedure and also plays a key role for all kinds of Industries.

Indian Pharmacopoeia has released a draft of General Chapter Weights and Balances (2.1.7) on 08.11.2024 which is currently open for comments till 23.12.2024 and if adopted the effective date for monograph would be July, 2026. 

This change will impact compliance requirement, day to day usage of balances, batch release, and performance check of balances.
