What to Expect During a METTLER TOLEDO Preventive Maintenance Visit
During a preventive maintenance visit, our OEM-trained technicians will perform a range of checks. These may include:
- General and enhanced inspection for signs of wear and tear, including cracks, dents, loose screws, or other damage.
- External and internal removing of dirt, dust, and debris that may compromise accuracy or lead to corrosion.
- Replacement of worn or damaged parts to preserve the device’s optimal functionality, if spare parts are available onsite.
- Functional and operational testing.
- Detailed maintenance report highlighting the performed activities.
- PRO includes a calibration on measuring instruments.
- Select PRO preventive maintenance includes the replacement of consumable parts such as UV lamps.
- Proactive recommendation how to maintain or improve the system
- Optional calibration, performance verification, and adjustment using certified calibration weights and test samples.
