How do you read a gram scale?

The measurements on a digital gram scale are easy to read. A number will appear on the digital display after you place your sample on the scale and ensure that your scale is properly calibrated. Next to that number will be a unit of measurement, which could be pounds (lbs), ounces (oz), kilograms (kg), or grams (g). Find the button that allows you to change the units until you find grams (g). If your sample weighs two grams, for example, it is often displayed as 2g.

How do you calibrate a scale for grams?
