This application note explains how METTLER TOLEDO’s digital ISM technology for reusable InPro pH sensors is now available in single-use InSUS pH sensors.
The use of single-use bioreactors has become a well established choice in the bioprocessing industry due to their advantages in process safety, reliability, and compliance with industry requirements. Accuracy in pH measurement and control of cell culture parameters is critical to achieve reliable and repeatable results that support conclusions for further process development, batch-to-batch consistency and to avoid out-of-specification production runs.

The InSUS H30i and reusable InSUS H30i sensor head offer the same connectivity options as a reusable InPro pH ISM sensor, enabling the fast and seamless integration of both sensor types into bioprocess control equipment. Predictive sensor diagnostics inform operators on sensor health during the cell culture run, providing an early warning of any impending sensor issue.
Efficient sensor management and generation of electronic documentation are facilitated by ISM Core, METTLER TOLEDO’s PC software for its ISM technology, which allows for the convenient management and documentation of in-line and digital single-use pH sensors away from the process environment.
