A versatilidade incomparável do DMA 1 permite que as aplicações sejam realizadas na configuração ideal para medição. O DMA 1 é rápido e fácil de configurar, seja para análises convencionais DMA, experimentos usando forças estáticas ou medições em líquidos.
DMA
A análise mecânica dinâmica (DMA) é uma importante técnica usada para medir as propriedades mecânicas e viscoelásticas de materiais, como termoplásticos, termorrígidos, elastômeros, cerâmica e metais. Em um Analisador Mecânico Dinâmico, a amostra é submetida a uma tensão periódica em um dos vários modos diferentes de deformação. As amplitudes de força e deslocamento e a mudança de fase são analisadas como uma função de temperatura, tempo e frequência.
O DMA fornece informações quantitativas e qualitativas que são de grande importância os engenheiros de processos e aplicações, cientistas de pesquisa de materiais e químicos, tais como:
- Módulo de Young e módulo de cisalhamento
- Características de amortecimento e comportamento viscoelástico
- Estrutura e morfologia de polímeros
- Comportamento de fluxo e alívio de tensão
Analisador Mecânico Dinâmico DMA/SDTA 1+
Os princípios operacionais dos DMA/SDTA são, em muitos aspectos, muito diferentes daqueles da geração atual de instrumentos DMA convencionais. A construção maciça do suporte resultada em uma frequência de ressonância intrínseca do sistema de cerca de 1.500 Hz, bem acima das frequências de medição usadas. A amostra em si é fixada diretamente ao sensor de força, de modo que a força realmente aplicada à amostra é medida. Esta técnica foi desenvolvida no Instituto de Teste de Materiais Dinâmicos, Universidade de Ulm, Alemanha, onde foi usado, com sucesso, por vários anos e já passou por desenvolvimento contínuo. O módulo é calculado a partir da relação de para deslocamento multiplicado por um fator de geometria dado pelas dimensões da amostra. O módulo pode ser determinados com excelente precisão, pois a força e o deslocamento são medidos. As peças fixas e móveis pode ser ajustada por meio de um dispositivo de alinhamento tridimensional, de modo que a força é aplicada em um ângulo de exatamente 90° em relação à amostra e sem erros devido à ocorrência de forças transversais.

A versatilidade incomparável do DMA permite que as aplicações sejam realizadas na configuração ideal para medição. O DMA é rápido e fácil de configurar, seja para análises convencionais DMA, experimentos usando forças estáticas ou medições em líquidos.
Medições em umidade relativa controlada
A opção de umidade é composta por uma câmara de umidade especial, um banho circulante de aquecimento e um gerador de umidade. Ela permite realizar medições em condições ideais em todos os modos de deformação. Não é necessário o reajuste especial após a instalação da câmara de umidade.
Medições com forças estáticas
Além do modo dinâmico, o DMA permite que as medições sejam realizadas usando forças estáticas (modo TMA). Todos os modos de deformação disponíveis para o DMA podem ser utilizados.
Medições em líquidos
A opção Banho de Fluido permite a realização de experimentos DMA ou TMA em líquidos utilizando todos os modos de deformação padrão. Todo o suporte de amostras e a amostra estão imersos no líquido. A opção Banho de Fluido é constituída por um banho de imersão especial e um controle de temperatura externo, utilizando um banho de circulação de aquecimento ou resfriador.
